For those of you who aren't familiar with the “Trash the Dress" concept... brides select a location or two and have some fun "getting dirty." It's a style of wedding photography that combines elegant with plain environments. Photos typically mimic something you would see in a fashion magazine. Brides select beaches, city streets, rooftops, fields, abandoned buildings, brides, woods, mountains, bodies of water and areas with urban decay for their trash the dress photo session.
The word "trash" may sound misleading considering the dresses only get wet or dirty... nothing a professional cleaning service shouldn't be able to restore, still enabling the bride to preserve the dress or donate it. Of course, some brides can take it to the extreme by tearing it, setting it on fire or destroying it.
