Making a grand entrance and exit

This North Carolina bride and groom know how to enter a ceremony. The duo bypassed walking down the aisle and made a zip line to the altar instead.

If you want to have a memorable entrance or exit go for the wow factor and put some of your personality into it. Don't be afraid to reinvent the entrance and exit.

Were you a member of a marching band? Have the band perform at your reception entrance.

Do you love the Indiana Pacers? Invite Boomer (their mascot) to your reception.

Are you a teacher? Leave for the reception on a school bus.

Do you have a flare for adventure? Arrive at your ceremony via a helicopter.

Do you live for being on the water? Leave on a boat or jet ski.

Is ice cream your favorite dessert? Use an ice cream truck for your grand exit.

Arrive and leave your ceremony in style. Choose transportation that reflects your personality as a couple. It can be a limo, a classic car, an elephant, a bicycle for two or anything else that moves.

Allow your guests to participate in the entrance or exit by giving them colorful streamers, flower petals, bubbles, candles or sparklers. No matter how big or small your entrance and exit are this will leave a lasting impression on your guests and will produce some beautiful photos.

When the reception ends think of having a getaway. Give your guests some treats for the late night munchies like cookies and milk. Or, set up a candy bar with a sign that says "Sweet Dreams."
